ok on WE tonight Mary Maher on Amazing Cakes, on the cake they were working on, the man was carving a purse and it was chocolate, and he kept spraying the cake with a liquid as he was frosting it, now was that water or sugar water or what, and was that to cut down on crumbing since it was chocolate or for moisture....any one think they know????
It's coming up next again, so I'll watch and see.
(I got caught up watching Mamma Mia and lost track of time)
Oh Mamma Mia is good....you will be singing that song for a week haha
I love the music to begin with- have had the songs in my head almost my whole life (semi hippie parents) I mean really... who can resist ABBA- I just never saw the movie. It just happened to come on at the right time tonight- and I was able to catch it from the beginning.
Still watching the episode of Amazing Cakes..... no idea about the spray though. Maybe tomorrow someone else might know why he'd spray the chocolate cake and what he sprayed it with.
Ok, i am re watching that scene right now, it has to be a simple syrup, or a flavor....maybe like a clear liquor....I think chefs usually brush it on but i suppose that it can be done either way.
anyone else have any input?
