Anyone out there who has a good, firm, yet light and moist white cake recipe??? I've been through TONS icon_smile.gif and still can't find the perfect one. My local bakery has the best white cake... tinted kind of yellow and it's moist, kind of crumbly, and kind of more on the salty side but it's the best. I've even thought about begging them for a job so I can find out how to make the darn stuff!

I've been on the search for 5 years now and still can't find one. Please, if you know a good from scratch white cake recipe please share! icon_smile.gificon_smile.gif

Thought maybe I had a recipe for you until you got to the crumbly and salty part....

Good luck on your quest.

Hey, I'm so desperate I'll take something that's not crumbly and not salty.. as long as it's a good tasting white cake! icon_smile.gif
