I need to cover a 12" cake with white fondant and a pink skirt on top with curve around it. Do i cut the curve and place it on top or do i place second layer of pink on top of white fondant and then cut around? Help!!

It depends on which you are comfortable with. I prefer to just cut it off and lay it on top.

I have a frill cutter would that do? If i cut the circumference of a 12" cake how could use the frill cutter it doesn't curve.

I cut a circle about 2-3 inches bigger than the cake. Lay it on the cake and take and exacto knife and cut my curve. Just be careful not to cut through first layer. It is really very easy. Good Luck!
