What is your most popular picture in your gallery? Did you think that picture would as popular as it is when you posted it? I have pictures that have drawn more attention that I thought when I posted it. I just wondered if anyone else has had the same thing happened. I guess you never know what will be appealing to others.

If you have a cake that drew a lot more attention than you excepted, I would love to see it. I have been surprised at the number of favorites on a few of my pictures on some cakes. Figured there had to be others out there that have had the same thing happen.

I used to be confused that my best cake to date was not my most viewed cake. Then I realized that's because it's in the Easter section. Which is not the most popular gallery. So of course fewer people will see it.

I love looking at these kinds of threads. It gives good attention to cakes that might have been overlooked.

What a fun idea for a thread. My most popular cake was a huge surprise, not only in that it was only my 3rd cake ever (and cake #1 was awful) but also in that I didn't even understand how the CC home page worked back then - so I never knew it landed in the "today's popular uploads" and got a bunch of saves to favorites...I didn't even realize that could happen! So when I finally figured all that stuff out a few months later, it had so many saves it had already become an all-time favorite !! I was flabbergasted! Then to top it off, about a year or two later, another CCer copied it. Double ! I couldn't believe I had created a cake that someone else wanted to copy; I was SO flattered. Wow.
