I made some silicone molds and had planned to use fondant, but it's too humid for my shells to hold their shape - is it possible to use candy melts in the silicone molds?

eta: and if so, do i need to do anything special, like grease them?

I use them ALL the time with chocolate. My customers love the fact that the shells, ect are made of choc. No grease required. I just pop them in the frig for a few minutes till set.

Shells look REALLY pretty brushed with super pearl dust after they come out of the molds.

Thanks so much! I tried it and they worked pretty well. I was surprised that they came out more matte than shiny like candy molds.
