How long does the wilton recipe rolled fondant store? The recipe says to store in cool dark place, no fridge or freezer. Days,weeks, indefinitely? I don't want to make anyone ill!!!

Well wrapped it can last a couple of months.
I make sure I leave it in the original foil sealing it as much as possible, then wrap in two layers of plastic wrap which is put into a ziploc baggie which is then placed in an airtight container. Usually I leave it at room temp. I also save any foil from previous boxes and use that as another layer (or 2) of wrapping after the plastic wrap Yeah, overkill probably but it seems to work.
