ok I am wanting to make BASICLY Toba Garretts chocolate buttercream.
BUT it calls for 5 fl oz of chocolate liqueur (godiva or orther.).

My question is is the ANY WAY to substitute something else?
I dont have any of the required ingredient and no time to go looking.
I need it Well today if possible. The cake will be for this weekend.
ANY suggestions? I dont even know what the Liqueur is actually.......
would coffee flavor work or hershey syrup work? I have both of thoes......

you can use melted chocolate. This is how I make my chocolate buttercream. I think you can use hershey syrup too. just take a small amount of your bC and add some choco syrup and see how you like it.
