I need some helpful info on pricing a wedding shower multi-tier fondant cake. I've seen several posts about this subject and it seems to depend on your "area".

I am in Southeast Texas. Fondant is definately requested by brides, but I'm unsure of the price per serving.

Also, I recently saw a chart on sizes and types of layers and how many servings each one will give you. I haven't been able to find it again, so if anyone can help with that, too. Thanks in advance!!

You should probably check with your local custom bakeries and find out how much they charge per slice for fondant.

And you definitely need to find out how much it costs you to make the cake so that you can make a profit.

Around here I think most people do $4.00 to $4.50 a slice for fondant.

So did you figure out how much your local custom bakeries charge?
