i have a question about airbrushes. i know that there are airbrushes that you can buy specifically for food and i also know they can be quite pricey! icon_smile.gif but since i'm a hobby baker and only ever make cakes for my immediate family and very close friends, i have a question about non-food grade airbrushes. i saw a cheap-o one at michael's for $28 -- well $14 with my trusty coupon (plus, i think, $10 for the can of air). i'm wondering if this would work with airbrush food colors? i would never, ever use it on a cake that i would give to anyone i didn't know, and i would never, ever use it on pieces that were to be eaten (or on straight bc covered cakes). i know the quality isn't up to par, but for 14 bucks, i was expecting that. i just wanted something to dink around with for a little while before a real investment. so, do you think this little air brush would work for what i'm looking for?
