I have dusted my flowers and will obviously steam them, but what I wanted to know was if the colour is not dark enough, once they are dry can I re dust and steam them again?

Many thanks in advance.

If you don't get an answer, maybe you should make a flower, color it, steam it, and then put more color on it to see what happens.

What is the steaming process for? I saw Cake Boss steam fondant last night and wondered why.

The steaming is to set the colour and add sheen. I can't see any reason why you can't add a darker shade to the top and then steam again.
