Is it just me or the Wilton almond flavoring tastes horrible? I had no choice but to buy it a day I went to Michaels. I had gone to buy the vanilla flavoring because I had run out of it, but they didn't have it when I needed it, so I figured I'd try the almond one. My sister Monica and I didn't like it but somehow my other sister liked it. I'm never going to use that flavoring again. What do you guys think? Do you like it? Do you not like it?...

Don't buy your flavorings from Wilton. Lorann has an insane number of flavorings (some oils) that are less expensive (you use much less) and are not out of shelf life date. Walmart carries some Watson flavorings. I like Lorann amaretto for my almond flavoring...tastes like almond but much gentler on the palate. You can find lots of things to choose from on the 'net and in local cake supply shops.
