I have a birthday cake due in two weeks. They want a "Coconut" It will be chocolate cake to feed 30 - 40 people. Any ideas on how to make a cool looking coconut. It's for a 10 yr old.

I lost the pic but have made several yrs ago. Use a large star tip (32?) and place yellow, light brown and green icing in your bag (yes, all at once each against the side of the bag, not layered). Pipe stars to cover the cake.
I used a medium 1/2 egg pan baking 2 of them put together w/icing and stood upright. For the leaves I made gumpaste ones glued to an ice cream cone. Roll it as thin as you can and dry over a paper towel roll/core.
