You did a fantastic job!! Way to go... Did you have an instructional book or something? What type of instructions did you use. I did a gumpaste one and it was not very good.

I just did my first fondant person and he was a surfer! Maybe its good luck to start out with beach themes?

Thx, no template or anything, I just check out a few pics, get an idea in my head and go for it! I am thinking about taking a fondant class though, I'm ok at decorati g but horrible at covering the cake!

My DD would love this! I just did her a tiki cake last week, now she is going to want this!!!

that is so cute, and not just the figure, the whole cake rocks!! the colours and decorations are fab, just looking at it makes you think of hawaii - great job
