Does anyone know of a recipe for a Crusting Peanut Butter Frosting? It seems to me that I had one but I can't seem to find it and not able to locate another one. TIA

I just always use Indydebi's buttercream icing, and then add peanut butter to it. A lot of peanut butter. For one recipe, I use at least half a jar.

I love peanut butter!

And it's always crusted and smooth for me.

I just use half shortening and half peanut butter with the usual other ingredients...my kids say it tastes like the inside of a reese's pieces!

I was going to try this. Half a jar - do you have a rough idea on ounces used? Does it work under fondant?

Thanks!
