I'm new to the world of topsy turvy/madhatter cakes and I've always wondered how the stripes on the madhatters are done -- the lines are always soooo straight!! I've attached a pix I found on the internet for you to see. Does anyone know how these are done?

The photo didn't show up...Francesca is on Flickr and has a great tutorial on gumpaste roses, along with more of her amazing cakes.

I've also seen a good tutorial on how to do the stripes...they're shown on a regular cake but the same principal would apply on a topsy turvy. http://www.flickr.com/photos/30279130@N02/2839854435/in/set-72157607165399596/

I was thinking of the same tutorial. I would love to try it as well.
