I have been trying to figure out or find how many serving in the sports ball cake. I think my brain quit on me. I would appreciate any help.

Thanks

just looked @ the Wilton site. according to their directions for a basketball cake, the pan serves 12

I didn't realize that they had serving sizes on their website for the shaped pans. That is awesome! Thanks Mirda!

They don't have the serving size listed with the pan, but listed when they show a decorated cake that uses a specific pan. Not sure why they can't just say outright how many the pan serves...oh well. Glad I could share something!

At least I know it's there somewhere! I'll just have to fiddle around when I have questions about each pan. Thanks again!

Thanks! Next time I'll check the Wilton site. icon_smile.gif I was guessing around 8 servings, but 12 is better

Thanks again

FYI: most of wilton's shaped pans have 12 servings. i've looked up numerous decorating ideas with specific pans and they've all said 12 servings

I served one last night and we easily got 10 servings out of the top 1/2 of the ball alone.

I guess it really just depends on how big or small you cut the slices!
