O.K. I need help on coloring fondant and buttercream gold. I have to make a crown cake and a beer can(miller high life) this weekend and am nervous about the colors. Also, they want this prince crown cake to "stand up"...any suggestions?

Thanks, but I live 45 minutes from a craft/bakery store...kinda needed to use what I have on hand.

Mix some gold highlighter metallic dust with some lemon extract or vodka to paint the items. You can find it online at sugarcraft.com

Are you looking for a shiny gold or just a gold color? What do you have on hand?
