Indydeb's Chocolate Recipe

Does anyone know how to make Indydeb's regular icing recipe into a chocolate one? I just love her recipe so much, I couldn't think of using anything else! icon_smile.gif Should I just subtract 1/2 cup of powdered sugar and put in 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, or should I add melted unsweetened chocolate and cut down on the liquid? Thanks for any help anyone can give! icon_smile.gif

my method:

8oz melted chocolate (ghirardelli or better) blended in.

makes it very stiff, so have to add more milk.

for even more intense chocolate: several TBS of Hershey's Special Dark Cocoa powder (or other of better quality -- would use ghirardelli powder but not available in my areas). usually toss in at least a tsp of pure vanilla if adding the powder.

and for mocha -- just add instant coffee to the milk
