Hi,

I've been trying to use my airbrush machine with the pearl luster dust made for airbrush machines. All it keeps doing is clogging it and "splurting" out all over my cakes.
I've tried adding Everclear to "water" it down and the stuff seizes up.
Any ideas on what I can do to get this to work properly????
Thanks!

I use pearl all the time in my airbrush. One thing that is real important when using any of the "sheen" type paints is to clean the brush out every 3 fills of the cup. (I use windex, then vodka, then water) Fill 3 fills, then do the 3 step cleaning again. It works for me, never have had it clog on me.

Your airbrush needle may be to small. My 1st airbrush I got from harbor freights did this to. I ended up going to Napa auto parts and buying a new airbrush from them. I needed one in a hurry and ordering a new one was not an option. I paid $30.00 for it and it works great, it is a paasche ez-starter set. I have no more problems spraying luster dust mixed with vodka or even airbrush color through it.
