1)Ok, I have read alot of topic on prices of cakes. I too, am struggling with how much to charge customers. I have a lady that is wanting two cakes next week. A grill cake, I'm gonna charge her $40.00 for. She is wanting a 1/4 sheet cake as well. My price on those is 25.00. Should I give her a discount since she is getting two? Please help me!! Thanks to everyone here at CC I get alot of great ideas on everything. If I ever have a problem you guys are ALWAYS here to help me!
2) check out the grill cake that I did before. This is what I'm doing again. I'm charging $40.00 for it. How much do you think this cake is worth?
Thanks!
I think she is already getting a great deal. Your grill cake should be at least double.
Think about it, when you go to the store and buy eggs, do you get a discount for buying more than one carton? If so I want to shop there.
Sorry, but no discount.

Definitely no discount! Your prices already are a steal! You can't go to a bakery and get a discount b/c you are getting two cakes....don't do it!
please do not give her a discount on second cake.. you are cheating yourself.. she wants 2 cakes.. she pays for 2 cakes.. the price you have given on the 2 cakes.. is already a discount. hth
No discount. Your time is worth far more then that! I bet if you factor it all out you aren't even making minimum wage.
