That is a complete bummer! Especially about the time that you invested.

However...I do love the re-purpose idea. Definitely cost effective. If you didn't want to freeze for a very long time, maybe you could think of a great place to take a "complimentary" cake and some business cards.

If you focus on wedding cakes, maybe see if the lady who cuts your hair would be permitted to share your sample cake & cards with her friends "at the shop". A lot of people get a fancy "do" for the wedding day. Or...I'm not sure of the rules, but maybe some local venues/banquet hall type places would be interested in a complimentary cake. Or, event planning places?

Turn it into a positive! It's better than being irritated for sure!

yeah, i think i got a little carried away earlier when i said "send her an invoice." i don't know what got into me icon_smile.gif anyways, i like everyone else's idea of a complimentary cake and business cards (i'm sure you could think of somewhere you could take the cakes) or slicing and freezing!
