elizabeths cake supply in Euless, call to make sure they have it in stock, it takes a week to get a 50 lbs box

make sure and call ahead for prices so you can compare. Cake Carousel is expensive on some of their products. Approx 6 cups of high shortning is $8.50 and their Satin Ice is waaaayyy expensive. 5lbs is $27. Vs what you can order online it's half their price. Good luck!

FYI - I tried the PS99 brand of hi-ratio shortening that Elizabeth's sells and it broke my Kitchen Aid! The stuff is SO stiff, I had to nuke it before putting it in the mixer. You may not have that problem in the summer, tho. icon_smile.gif

P.S. I replaced my Kitchen Aid with a 7-qt 1000 watt Viking. Hubby still thinks it was sabotage. hehehe....
