I was hoping for some help. I need to make fondant royal blue for a cake i'm doing. The Wilton color is good, but makes it brighter than I need. Any ideas for deepening the color. I tried a bit of black and that made the color go to Navy blue.

My only suggestion would be to add a teeny tiny amount of black, noteven a toothpick worth. I'm surprised the small amount made it Navy for you. I use Americolor brand though, if you have time, try that. Maybe someone else has a better suggestion.

Wilton colors are not that deep and you have to use a ton. I switched to "Americolor" and the colors are fantastic! A few drops is all you need to get a deep color in fondant.
