Need Help With Cake Ideas: Field Day

I have been asked to make a field day sheet cake. I am stumped as to what to do besides making it look like grass and have a banner on one side as the finish line. What else would you add or do? Thanks for any any all advice!

Make little people out of modeling chocolate and have them do a three legged race. Maybe some trees, how about a little pond with ducks? Hope this works for you. Don't forget to upload pics.
