I was married July 15 2000 (Oiy! I feel old!) I dabbled in cake decorating then but I never gave notion to doing my own cake. I saw a cake in one of the Bridal magasines, tore it out and sent it to the grocery store my husband wanted our cake to be from (we live in AZ, married in SD where he is from) So anyhow, I never got that paper back and I would love to see the origional that my wedding cake was copied from- I am making a duplicate of the top tier for my anniversary this week-the photos I have are not great and I am having issue with the detail between the top and second teir.
So...without further ado-My wedding cake circa 2000-can anyone place that design? Besides a bit of sloppyness and the 'sugar leaf divider' between the middle two tiers its pretty close to the origional. I made no changes in the design. The leaf divider was supposed to be plastic(ish? Im rusty on that detail)
