What Products Give That Gold / Silver Metallic Look?

Can you please tell me what products you use to give that shiny gold / silver look? Is it just silver / gold dust or are you using a lacquer with them? Thank you so much for the information.

I think you're referring to lustre dust. NuSilver produces a shiny silver and there are a few golds - Old Gold, super gold. Mix with a little vodka for painting consistency. PME also sells a spray product that you can find at Global Sugar Art or Country Kitchen Sweet Art.

The Wilton dusts won't give that really metallic look...I did enough experimenting with them to figure that out.

I needed a really metallic silver recently and tried Americolor silver airbrush color...I don't have an airbrush so I just painted it on with a paintbrush. It worked really well.

Yes the air brush colors work well. I believe highlighter dusts do the same but not meant to be consumed.
