I made the MMF this morning, and I put it on the cooled cake tonight. It is stretching from the top. I now am getting a puddle of MMF at the bottom of the cake. HELP!!!!

To me it sounds like it might be a bit too soft, can you knead in some more icing sugar? or are there too many crumbs in it etc then i would make a new batch

you know you don't really even need to bother going by the amount of icing sugar they say, what i do is just knead it icing sugar until i feel it is the right 'doughiness'

eg. until it is just firm enough (slightly soft but not tough) that when you try rolling a tiny bit out and try stretching it that it doesn't really easily pull/fall apart cose that means it's too soft. And also when you roll it out it doesn't stick easily to the rolling pin

Does that make sense? lol
