A bride told me she wants gerber daisies on her cake, then sent me this picture... These don't look like gerber daisies to me! But she wants these, in pink instead of white. I'm assuming they're gumpaste and I've only ever done gumpaste roses, so I'd like to do a search for a tutorial on how to make these. Any suggestions on what to search or how to make these? Thanks!

Me too. They could be piped with a stiff frosting. The combination of some piped and some gumpaste could be nice.

To me they almost look like a double or triple ponsettia. I would think that is how you could start out making then and just add layers until you get that look.

I kind of thought they looked like a poinsettia too!! I've made those out of RI before, so maybe I should try these the same way. I'm going to search for gumpaste dahlias and see what I can come up with. Thanks for the help everyone!
