I really, really want to go to CakeCamp in September. There are four classes that I want to take and they all involve gumpaste flowers (Nicholas Lodge - 2 classes, Collette Peters and B. Keith Ryder). One of Nic's classes is down to one opening, so I have to decide quickly.

I can only carry on one box of flowers. Is there anything I can take with me to pack the rest of my flowers inside my checked bag and actually get back to Texas with them intact?

Thanks so much!

That's a big risk - they are so fragile. I have used Polyfill to support and pad them, but once you check your bag, they will be tossed around so much. Sorry, but I don't have an alternative for you.

Thanks, Lee. I may do a search for those CC'ers who order their gumpaste flowers ready made. See how they are packaged for shipping. I really want to go because it is a wonderful opportunity, but I wouldn't want to leave my flowers sitting in the hotel lobby ... icon_cry.gif
