I use Bakers Joy on my baking pans. Well, I forgot to buy more today, so can I use just regular cooking spray? I really don't want to grease and flour.

The best thing to use that I learned here on CC was to make my own cake release. I have never used anything else since and my cakes fall right out of the pan every time!!!

To make it is really simple:

1 cup flour
1 cup shortening
1 cup Oil

Mix well and thats it. Store it in an air tight container, I keep mine in the fridge but you dont have to.
