Is there a way to look up a cake by the person who made the cake. A girl ordering a cake from me wants me to do a cake she seen from a specific person and I was wandering if I could look them up somehow? Strange question I know!

Sure, click on member list on the purple bar up toward the top of the screen, and then enter the person's username in the search field. You should be able to access their profile that way, and then you can click on the photos link in their profile.
