We have all seen those professional looking fondant covered cakes with clean sharp edges. How do the do it? I've been doing fondant for about two years and am pretty happy with what I have learned so far. But try as I might my edges have a roundness to them. I found a possible clue earlier today but could not confirm. A cake blog mentioned that the secret to those coveted edges is a fondant sausage around the top. I need more info and pictures to. It's a lot to ask I know, but I would appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks,
