if I use this recipe to fill my cakes:

do I need to refrigerate?
I'm making a golf ball cake, so it will be filled with banana filling, iced in buttercream, then covered with fondant. If i need to refrigerate should i fill and ice tonight then cover in fondant tomorrow (the party's tomorrow), because I think I read that you shouldn't refrigerate fondant.
TIA !
Sorry you didn't get any replies in time
If I were doing it I probably would have done exactly as you suggested. Hope all went well for you.......let us know
haven't done it yet so still looking for an opinion on refriderating - I'd really like to fill, ice and fondant tonight but I don't know....???
With the ingredients in this filling, I would go ahead and refrigerate it. As for your fondant, I haven't had any trouble with refrigerating cakes covered in Satin Ice or Wilton - Choco-pan sweats pretty badly though.
HTH!!!
