if I use this recipe to fill my cakes:

do I need to refrigerate?

I'm making a golf ball cake, so it will be filled with banana filling, iced in buttercream, then covered with fondant. If i need to refrigerate should i fill and ice tonight then cover in fondant tomorrow (the party's tomorrow), because I think I read that you shouldn't refrigerate fondant.

TIA !

I always refrigerate my cakes. Some people have luck with it and some people don't.

With the ingredients in this filling, I would go ahead and refrigerate it. As for your fondant, I haven't had any trouble with refrigerating cakes covered in Satin Ice or Wilton - Choco-pan sweats pretty badly though.
HTH!!!
