I am new to this site. It is fabulous!!! I have tried using fondant a few times but must be doing something wrong. The cake looks great but all you can taste is fondant and not the frosting. How much frosting can you use?

Did you try torting you cakes? That would add extra frosting. I never use a thick coat of frosting to coat my cake.

Also make sure you arn't putting on the layer of the fondant too thick

yes, just watch the thickess of the fondant, its not meant to be put on thick like you woud frosting, just a very thin layer.
