I have frozen regular powdered sugar buttercream without a problem. Can you do the same with SMBC? I'm trying it for the first time on the next cake I make and would like to make it ahead of time.
Yep you can freeze it. I have to say that the 1-2-3 SMBC freezes better than the 1-2-2. Well it freezes just as well, just the thawing is better with the first one
If it looks a bit curdled after thawing just put it back in the mixer for a minute!
