Please help me! I'm fairly new to cake decorating and I'm trying to figure out how to make black color flow icing for a Mickey Mouse cake this Saturday. I see it on cc all the time but I have not idea how to make it...someone please help me!!
I have made black color flow and RI by using the Americolor Super Black paste food coloring to tint it. The key is to use a little bit less water than usual (just a smidgen less) and to make it a couple of hours before you need it, to give the color time to deepen. If you look in my gallery, the tuxedo heart cookies use the Americolor Super Black.
