Is there anyway to get the look of an airbrush without having the machine? I am doing a monkey cake and there is some color in the cheeks of pink that looks airbrushed and unfortunately I don't have one.

There is some airbrushing on the wood box they are in also.

Thanks in advance for any help icon_smile.gif

you can buy cans of spray colour, but they can be hit and miss - i dont think id trust it to just do a spot on a small area.
you could dust on some petal dust - apply like a blusher!
for the wood, i would just paint it on, theres lots of pics here showing it, and it works really well. just thin your colours with a bit of alcohol, and away you go.

By all means, use luster dust. You can thin it with alcohol and paint it on, or use it dry. Both ways will give you shiny cheeks. (And, no big expense.)

I think I would try the pearl/luster dust first and if doesn't work, I would buy Wilton's Color Mist
