I made my first figurine using the tutorial here and it turned out pretty good, I was feeling pretty proud of myself but now I am ruining trying to do the eyes, eyelashes and mouth! Help! I bought some fine tip edible marking pens but they bleed like crazy and even the smallest dot becomes huge.

What is the secret for getting fine eyelashes, mouth, etc???

A fine small brush.

Yes - use a tiny brush and use petal and luster colors diluted. The less you put on the better. I find it helpful when doing the 'eyelashes' to just run a single line over the top of the eye, then paint maybe one or two lashes at the outermost corner - trying to pant a bunch of lashes usually looks odd. I also find it helpful when I do one eyebrow to turn her upside-down and paint the second eyebrow - this way I can see what I did on the other side to make them even.

Hope this makes sense! icon_rolleyes.gif
