Hey all! How long are cakes good for in the freezer? I've wrapped them in saran wrap. Thanks!

i have found that when i have frozen cake in the freezer its will be good for about a month. i always syrup my layers anyways to make them moist. you really should make sure you wrap u the cake really well tho because you wouldn't want it to develop that freezer taste. i would also do a test with your cakes because all recipes freeze differently.

I'd say a month--although people have had successful outcome after freezing for months.

Also, I suggesst you also use foil, freezerbag or bread bag after wrapping it with saran wrap.
