I'm in the middle of making a batch of NFSC for this afternoon. I wanted to make a half batch since I don't need that many cookies. I halved all the ingredients but then accidentally put in the full 3 tsp. of baking powder. Do I have to even it all out and make the full batch or should I just bake them up the way they are. They're for my nieces and nephews and I'm not really sure they would notice anyway.

Thanks

I would make the whole batch. If you have too much bkpwd the cookies first rise and then collapse and they will have a bitter taste.

Make the full batch. You can always freeze the extra dough!

I agree. I am not a fan of halving recipes. Especially when cookie dough can freeze beautifully!

I just added the rest and made the full batch. You can never have too many cookies, right? icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks
