I am trying to find out why when I bake my chocolate cakes (I use store bought cake mix) they crack on top and at times the crack goes from top to bottom that I can't cut to add filling. HELP !!

you could try baking from scratch, the chocolate cake on the back of the hershey's cocoa can is really good... replace the water with coffee.

I was going to suggest the same thing! I was a Duncan Hines Devil's Food Cake with pudding added fanatic. Then.... I tried the scratch chocolate cake recipe from Hershey's.... It's now my favorite! I love it!!!!! My mouth just watered... icon_razz.gificon_redface.gificon_biggrin.gif
