I am looking for a delicious way to serve an angel food cake. I want to keep it as a cake, not use it broken up in a desert as many recipes I have seen, do. The birthday girl asked for a light, summery cake. Does anyone have a good recipe, maybe using strawberries or lemon?

Funny you should ask because I'm bringing an Ambrosia Cake to a party tomorrow. I have it xeroxed but it came from Cook's Country. Here's the link http://www.cookscountry.com
I've never made it before but it looks yummy. Angel Food cake with fruit.

I make angel food cake and put blueberries in it (frozen, dusted with flour, folded in at the last second) and then use a piping bag to drizzle lemon cream cheese frosting over it...it's so delicious. I got the recipe for the frosting on epicurious, and I love it. It's really soft frosting though, so the drizzle-look is the best bet.
