How do you store a fondant cake? I was told not to refrigerate it, but what do you do if the filling needs to be refrigerated?

It depends on the type of fondant you are using.MMF,marshmallow fondant does beautifully in the fridge,I think some of the other posters even freeze it.If you have purchased commercially bought fondant than I wouldn't put it in the fridge, mostly because it tends to attract moisture and become sticky.

I was wondering the same thing! My filling needs to be refrigerated, but the Wilton Fondant instructions says uncovered it will keep in the fridge. We'll see....
