How long will satin ice fondant stay fresh is properly stored? I'd like to buy the 20 lb tub b/c of the price but I don't use it everyday... I'm afraid it'll go bad.

It's easy to work with, but I think it smells funny. It does last at least 6 months though.

on the container it said up to a year.

I would say 6 months....sugar doesn't go bad very easily.....but I seem to use it up way before that....love it.
