Where do you get the wires used to hold fondant decorations up and off the cake? Any special tips for using these? (inserting, etc.)

Floral sections from craft stores and even at most cake decorator stores. They are called 'floral wires'. Also best to insert straws into cake and then the wire into that straw to help support the weight you have at end of your wires if it will be fairly heavy and or tall. This will help keep your wire from cutting or slitting cake. Hth icon_smile.gif

I used 20 ga. florist wire I got at Michaels. I inserted coffee stirers into the cake then put the wires inside of them so the bare wire wasn't touching the cake.
