Peanut Butter Filling With A Dam?

Can anyone tell me if I do a peanut butter filling what can I use for a dam? I am not using buttercream with it so I don't know what to do. icon_confused.gif I haven't finished the filling (it's in the fridge) so I don't know if it will be thick enough to use as a dam. Can anyone help please!!??

Can you use your peanut butter filling and make it thick by adding powdered sugar to it, to use as a dam?
