H E L P am doing first wedding cake in Oct. Have to drive an hour to get it there. Is it easier and better for transport to stack the cake therefore using the dowels to hold it and stabilize it, OR should I do a tiered cake on seperators so each cake travels on its own and then stack them on the seperators when I get it there ???

how many cakes will there be? I transport three stacked, and add the res twhen I am there but that is only if it is close. If it is more than 30 minutes away, I stack on site.

I do use the sps system

I usually stack once I arrive at the venue where the event is being held, I have never used the sps system that was mentioned. princess.gif

Thanks leahs for the great tutorial on the SPS system for stacking. I will be ordering this system and using it for this wedding cake. Can't thank you enough for your expert advice. You rock.
