I am making a cake for next weekend and we are having a heat wave. I want to cover the cake in MMF but I am not sure if it will be ok in the heat. The party is going to be outside. I know my BC is fine though.

Thank you in advance!!

Good question. I made MMF cake/cupcake tower and the polka dots on the cuppies started to sweat, but the cake was fine. Made from the same batch...go figure.

HUH, funny how that happens!! I do not want to buy Satin Ice so I am soooo hoping the MMF will hold up! I mostly use BC but because of the shape of the cake I simply HAVE to use fondant. Thanks!!

It should hold up just fine. I live in SE Louisiana where the temperature has been in the low 100s every day for at least the past week. I made a cake with MMF this weekend (the Favorite Characters cake) and it held up great.

I agree with you on the Satin Ice. I just wanted to try it and didn't feel like making black fondant, so I bought black Satin Ice. I am not impressed. The whole time I was using it the smell of it was making me sick. They call if "vanilla", but I don't think so.
