I am making a cake for my sister in law. It's a triple layer, but it's shorter than what I wanted. I have another cake but it's still frozen (I don't need it until tomorrow). Would it be ok to use now, or do I need it to thaw first before I ice it? Thanks!

Id let it thaw a little, but it shouldn't take long like 15-20 mins should be enough.

I think I can handle 15-20 mins, but I can't wait until tomorrow. if I have to I can do a 3 layer, but my cakes didn't rise as high as I'd like.
