Hi All!!

I am just a hobbiest that enjoys making cakes. Is it legal for me to start charging for my cakes from my home kitchen?? I live in Georgia, I don't know where to go to find out what seems like a simple answer.

Thank You,

=)

There is a pinned topic on this page where you can find the information for your state.

I know that it depends on the county. I used to live there (I miss it!). You have to check with your county and see their requirements.

If you live in Dekab county it's a NO as they said you can't have two kitchens on one property. Although I've called and talked to 4 different ppl and they gave different answers- 2 yes 2 no and the health dept said yes as long as it's in a detached building.
